Wonton Tacos!

If you liked making the petite lasagnas, you’ll really like making these!  They’re super simple and delicious!  My coworker told me about this recipe and I made it for my girlfriends and I think they all liked it, unless they lied. Lol.  Anyway… hope you enjoy them as much as I did!


  • wonton wrappers (found in the produce section next to the tofu)
  • 1-1.5 lbs of lean meat (I used ground beef)
  • low-sodium black beans, drained
  • half of an onion, chopped
  • a packet of taco seasoning
  • mexican cheese
  • lettece
  • tomato
  • salsa
  • sour cream or greek yogurt (optional)
In a large frying pan cook meat until done, then drain off fat.  Add black beans, onion, taco packet and water as directed on taco seasoning packet.  While all of that is cooking/simmering lightly grease muffin/cupcake tin and preheat oven to 350 F.  Put wonton wrapper in the bottom of each tin.  Then add a scoop of meat concoction into each once it’s done.  Add a layer of cheese and wonton wrapper.  Then the meat concoction again and layer of cheese to top it off.  Bake for about 10 minutes and wahla!  Top with salsa, sour cream, lettece, tomatoes, or any of your favorite taco toppings!  Hope you all enjoy! :)
